Help Inner-City Children Rock Out This Friday!
19 MayI wasn’t surprised at all when Angel Philanthropy Diva Contessa Gibson told me she was involved in another charity event and cause! I love the organizations she gets involved with! And this one simply rocks (no pun intended). She is helping out The People’s Music School and they are hosting a fundraiser this Friday at Rockwood Place, 8-11PM – tickets are available at http://rockoutatrockwood.eventbrite.com/
DIVA ANGEL CONTESSA GIBSON
The People’s Music School provides free, after-school music education to over 1,000 inner-city kids each year. With devastating cuts to school arts programs, thousands of children are being denied access to a musical education. The People’s Music School exists solely to fill this gap, but demand is overwhelming. Each Fall, lines form days in advance of our annual registration, as parents try to secure access to this invaluable education for their children but we have to turn away hundreds of families due to a lack of funding.
